Co-FounderA native Houstonian, Lauren Sancton comes to genisi with 15+ years of experience within the hospitality industry and beyond. With a background in strategic public relations, influencer marketing and business development, Lauren brings a wealth of knowledge and a great work ethic and humor every day to the team.
At genisi, she is the hustler - coordinating the orchestra behind-the-scenes to make your visions come to life. Lauren resides in Houston with her husband, Marc, two daughters and pup, Pickles. When she's not working, Lauren enjoys eating at all of Houston's newest restaurants, CrossFitting, volunteering in her kids' schools and various philanthropic organizations, and traveling.

Co-FounderOriginally from Maryland, Julian has lived in Houston for over 10 years. He comes to genisi with 10+ years of experience in oil and gas (mostly in marketing and sales management roles) and 5 years of experience as a small business owner. Julian and his wife, Camille, started Cosmic Ice Cream - a business that has grown from a single location in 2021 to 3 retail scoop shops and a quickly growing wholesale and catering arm.
At genisi, Julian is the visionary. He believes that any challenge can be solved, and is transparent about how he and his team can provide solutions that are tailored to the client’s needs.
Outside of work, Julian enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, cooking and trying new restaurants.
